Concrete floor grinding

Concrete floor grinding is a meticulous process that uses heavy machinery to level, smooth, and prepare concrete surfaces. It removes imperfections, creating a durable, even, and polished finish, ideal for various applications from residential to industrial space

Full Exposure

This process is more labor intensive as we have to grind over the floor usually 2-3 times to get all the stone showing. As a general rule, we grind down 4-5mm depending on the slab. This is a more decorative look and is often used in homes and showrooms.

Cream Finish

Cream Finish is typically for newly poured concrete that is poured to very stringent specifications so that there are no undulations throughout the floor where aggregate can show through. This is a very hard finish to achieve and it is up to the contractor to pour the perfect slab for us to polish.

Concrete Dye

As we generally use your existing concrete, you are often bound by whatever colors appear in your cement and the stone as we start to grind. If you are unhappy with the existing color or you want something to tie in with other furnishings etc., we have a couple of options.

Salt and Pepper

This is often referred to in the industry as a salt and pepper look. It is where we grind the top 1-3mm of the surface, usually going over the entire floor just once. There is often no stone exposure in some areas, and other areas have a little or a lot depending on how the slab was poured. This is often used for the industrial look, or for garages, restaurants, outdoor areas, etc., and is a more cost-effective option.
